In 1990, UniLu's own Mark Showalter discovered a new moon orbiting Saturn. This week, NASA’s Cassini spacecraft took some detailed images, enabling Mark and all of us to see what his discovery looks like! You can read the story, from National Geographic, online here.

ELCA Advocacy offers two Lenten resources:
  • ELCA World Hunger’s “40 Days of Giving” Lent devotional focuses on the connections between faith and economic justice as we follow Christ’s journey to the cross. A number of pages highlight some of the work of our State Public Policy Offices with suggestions for advocacy actions.
  • The ELCA AMMPARO initiative released the “I Was A Stranger” Bible and Prayer challenge. It focuses on meeting people who have been displaced with the heart and love of God.

If you would like to join the congregation, you can 1) have your membership transferred from another congregation, 2) join by Affirmation of Faith, or 3) be baptized (if you haven't already been). Contact Pastor Greg for more information.

This Sunday is the first Sunday in Lent and our worship shifts to the evening. From 5:15 to 5:30, Carol D. will be leading some sung prayers in the sanctuary and our liturgy (Unfailing Light) will begin at 5:30. Adult Forum will happen after worship and refreshments. If you'd like to add some candles to the worship space, please bring them by anytime.
