Join University Lutheran Church for Advent and Christmas.

  • Sundays in Advent, 10am
    • Sunday mornings, we worship at 10 am and the season's lessons point us toward the peace and justice of God's reign as well as toward the incarnation of Christ. Advent hymns are hopeful, the liturgy is reflective, and the eucharist is celebrated every Sunday.
  • Community Christmas Celebration - Tuesday, December 11, 7pm
    • This is kind of a "Christmas Pageant for All Ages" - there is audience-singing, storytelling, poetry reading, joke-telling, choir music, instrumental music, small ensembles, and lots of pie and drinks. We will also be collecting food and clothing for those in need.
  • Blue Christmas Service - Wednesday, December 19, 7pm
    • This service is less celebratory, is more hopeful, and acknowledges the stress and pain sometimes associated with this time of year. Join us for a quiet, interactive, prayerful service, open to each and all.  For more information, see our Blue Christmas page.

  • Christmas Eve - Monday, December 24, 5:30pm
    • Candles, singing, communion, and the old, familiar story of God's birth into the creation - this is a central celebration of Christianity and shapes who we are as Christian people, proclaiming God's presence in and with the creation.
  • Examen Eucharist for the end of the year - Sunday, December 30, 10am
    • Join us as we sing beloved carols, hear favorite readings, reflect on 2018, and pray for the coming new year. Read more here.
