Ministry at University Lutheran is organized into 4 Quadrants
- Love God includes worship, prayer, spiritual practices, and Christian education. Think of these as the ways in which we encounter God and celebrate the good news of Christ for all creation.
- Love Our Neighbor is how we proclaim the good news of Christ for all of creation and includes volunteering, stewardship, in-gathering, knitting, cooking, serving, prayer, and other service - ways we encounter God in the world around us as we seek to bring about the promised Reign of God. We seek to follow Christ “at work in the world” with clearer focus and more engaged activities and actions with an emphasis on working together and making a difference in the neighborhoods where we live and well beyond.
- Love Each Other is how we seek to build more caring relationships among people at UniLu, connecting to one another and building an ever-new community of newcomers, long-timers, young adults, students, families with children, retired folks, progressive Christians, etc.
- Love UniLu is how we support all of this. This organizational structure, physical property, processes of decision making, and shared leadership in the congregation are the scaffold on which this ministry is built up.
