In 1990, UniLu's own Mark Showalter discovered a new moon orbiting Saturn. This week, NASA’s Cassini spacecraft took some detailed images, enabling Mark and all of us to see what his discovery looks like! You can read the story, from National Geographic, online here.

It's wonderful how far our science went in the last few decades. I saw some NASA photos from 90's and modern ones. The difference is amazing! Out tech progress is wonderful. But I hope we will go even further. I can't wait for the first Mars man landing. I'm sure It will be huge step into future

Our church sits in an ancestral homeland of the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe. Christian colonizers forced their ancestors into missions and seized their land. We grieve the loss of indigenous lives, the destruction of indigenous culture, and the commodification of indigenous land. God calls us to a right relationship with this land and its past, present, and future caretakers. Muwekma neighbors are a sovereign people. May we live in solidarity with them and repair Creation with all.
